
Cartoons Take Flight Reception
Henry “Hank” Syverson was a leading cartoonist, illustrator, and animator in the mid-twentieth century. Commissioned by the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency and assigned the Pan Am account in the late 60s, From the “Pan Am Makes the Going Great” promotion, to the launch of the 747, to the Arab oil embargo, Syverson displayed a keen sense of humor and understanding of the world’s longing to travel.
